This policy explains how subscriptions to PetraMapper, operated by Petralogix Engineering Inc, are cancelled and when refunds may be available. It is part of our Terms of Service.
PetraMapper is offered as a recurring subscription across the Simple, Advanced, and Research tiers, on monthly or annual billing. Subscriptions are billed in advance and renew automatically until cancelled.
New accounts may receive a one-time free trial of full access. You will not be charged during the trial, and you can let it lapse without becoming a paying subscriber. You only begin paying when you choose to subscribe.
Because access is granted for the full billing period, payments are generally non-refundable, and cancelling stops future charges rather than refunding the current period — except where a refund is required by applicable law, or where we choose to grant one at our discretion (for example, a clear billing error or a duplicate charge).
To request a refund, email dkramer@petralogix.com from your account email within 14 days of the charge, including the date and reason. We aim to respond within a reasonable time. Approved refunds are returned to your original payment method via our payment provider.
Annual plans are paid up front for the year. Cancelling an annual plan stops the next yearly renewal; the current year remains active until it ends. Mid-term refunds for annual plans are handled under Section 4.
If we change subscription pricing, the new price applies at your next renewal. You may cancel before renewal if you do not wish to continue at the new price.
Deleting your account permanently removes your personal data and cancels any active subscription at the same time. Deletion is immediate and cannot be undone, so export your data first if you want to keep a copy.
